The story

In the wine for 12 generations

Located in the heart of historically rich buildings dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, the Perrot-Minot estate bears witness to a long history of passion for the vine. The origins of the estate trace back to the mid-18th century when Étienne de Mermety and Louise le Breton des Chapelles, custodians of the first secrets of the terroir and the initial harvests, established the winemaking activity. During this period, the first interpretations of the estate’s terroirs came to life.

In 1993, the continuation of this exceptional heritage was entrusted to Christophe Perrot-Minot by his parents Marie-France and Henri, to elevate the family legacy and take the wines to new heights.

Before joining the family, estate and representing the 12th generation of winemakers in Morey-Saint-Denis, Christophe honed his experience as a wine broker, exploring various facets of the wine world over seven years. This valuable learning period allowed Christophe to develop a broad perspective of the vinicultural universe, undoubtedly defining the paths to follow.

Armed with this invaluable expertise, today Christophe embodies the continuity of the family legacy that began in the 18th century. As a true guardian of family know-how, he is committed to perpetuating, year after year, the quality, rigor, and excellence passed down from generation to generation for over 300 years.
