Chambertin
Grand Cru
Terroir
Age of the vines : 50-52 years old
Chambertin is among the top 5 best grands crus in Burgundy. Its central position on a slightly sloping, moderately cool and windy hill gives the wine a unique texture. It faces east. This deep substratum is finely covered with limestone scree and silt which have settled for millenaries and which agriculture has mixed for many centuries.
